I would commend to your attention the artistry of JB Brown whose Penguin Grips creates, bespoke for any 1911 model, from exotic wood beautiful hand made grips.
My WC full frame is now sporting Arizona Ironwood Burl and my WC compact has California Buckeye Burl.
Without a doubt the finest I have ever seen.
